Tim Metts

Founder and Principal

As the founding member of Eos, Tim Metts brings over 20 years of experience helping clients develop and implement energy risk management and trading programs. Tim has advised a wide range of energy companies, including natural gas, retail electricity, power generators, LNG, IOCs, IOUs, municipal utilities, E&Ps, and refiners.

Scott is a former power company CRO, gas utility executive and Big 4 energy risk leader with over 30 years’ experience in corporate risk governance, commodity and credit risk management, utility regulatory finance and risk-based capital allocation.
He is an expert in wholesale power and gas market operations and specializes in questions involving complex risk quantification and decision analysis.

Principal

He has a proven track record of developing commercially-minded risk management functions with an emphasis on fostering inter-functional collaboration and risk intelligence throughout the enterprise.
